A few more pages from the sketchbook!
Hello Venice!
Hello from Verona!
Last day in Rome.
Moving onto Florence next.
Some pages from my class sketchbook, in case anyone’s wondering what I’m doing over here. (Other than walking and taking pictures of seagulls)
The italian seagull. A bold bird who is known to sit and stare meaningfully at people while they sketch. Does it hope for food, or is it simply an art critic?
Trained footwear taking a break before their next walk. When properly conditioned, they can cover up to 15 miles in a single day.
The bags are packed. I’ll see y’all in a little bit.
Well, I wanted to be awesome and get this comic finished before I left, but things didn’t quite work out that way, haha. So instead you guys get page 1!
This started out as a quick doodle that morphed into more elaborate doodles that morphed into a comic that spiraled out of control. Art!
Anonymous asked: How much do u charge to ship your creations to Switzerland? :D!!!
All international shipping is $12.00.
Anonymous asked: I bought the turtle pattern not too long ago and I've made an army of turtles with it. It's AMAZING! But I've been wondering, how does one put those red stripes on a turtle's head?
I’m glad you’re enjoying the pattern! The stripes were made using a chain stitch. There’s a tutorial for it here.
Staged Retreat was a short assignment from my environmental controls class this semester. We were told to design a primitive shelter for a specific climate region, utilizing passive systems to control the temperature.
The project isn’t anything fancy, but I had fun with it. I got kind of enamored with the whole idea of fixed elements that perform different functions depending how the space was activated. I’ll have to incorporate that into more projects down the line!
All the orders are out, and the shop is officially closed for vacation! (which is good, cause I’m leaving in the morning)
Bluephone Studios will be back open June 28th. See you guys then!
Did someone say 1940s?
Alright, here it is. The short story I wrote nearly four years ago for my creative writing class, in all its unedited glory. Enjoy.
