Horseshoes and Handgrenades

I told you I’d do this, star.

I’m a pretty big fan of Evan Dahm’s comic, Vattu - okay, all his comics - and making a little crochet Vattu has been on my to-do list for awhile now. Had some free time this evening, so I decided to give it a shot!

She’s a little smaller than I planned, not even four inches tall, and I’m not entirely satisfied with the proportions, but overall I think it came out pretty cute! I’ll have to give the pattern another go sometime and make a version that can stand on its own. Without the spear tiny-Vattu just topples over. Maybe if I weighted down the body. Hmm…
